Christina McFarland
 M.A, LCPC

My name is Christina. I am a mental health clinician working with individuals suffering from a variety of issues/concerns of which they find difficult to move beyond. Our office setting is quiet and zen a space which offers true healing. The building is handicap accessible with a private entrance to the office. My counseling style is eclectic, composed of evidence based, goal oriented, and trauma centered. During the initial visit we will work together to discover your reason for seeking treatment and set goals to achieve during the treatment process. My goal is to walk beside clients to help them navigate their hardships or to simply be a sounding board to those that need a listening ear.

It is my belief that our experiences shape our lenses and abilities to understand and function throughout
life. Acceptance of circumstances and our capacity to digest these same circumstances guide perception,
outcomes goals and states of being.
My approach as a therapist is helping to educate and facilitate processes of self-awareness and
recognizing individualized areas of expertise and compassionate ways of navigating choices, thoughts
and behaviors. During your sessions, you will evolve meeting yourself where you are, positively, through
desired stages of development and change.
I am an experienced clinician who loves to learn and evolve in the mental health field, developing a
therapeutic rapport while using comprehensive approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and
